Buy Leviton modular phone & cable jack adapters & straps in a choice of colors. These convenient inserts make it easy to add a telephone plug or coaxial cable connection where you need it.
Phone, cable and data jacks can be paired with phone jack cover plates by inserting into the small square opening. Plates come with 1-4 jack openings.
Note that the jack will protrude from the plate as shown in the image.
Add up to 6 jacks in a single gang rocker plate with modular frames.
Jacks pop right into Leviton's frames and the frame fits standard decora rocker switch plate openings (same opening as Decora Rocker light switches & GFI outlets).
Inside holes are for attaching modular frames to electrical boxes (with provided screws).
Outside holes are spaced for a rocker plate to screw into the frame.
Leviton modular keystone jacks can also be added to 1-port or 2-port recessed wall plates.
With these covers, your data or A/V jacks and connectors will sit back into the wall.
Recessed jacks work well behind wall-mounted equipment (such as a TV screen or computer monitor) or furniture such as a desk or bookcase that you want to remain flush against the wall.
