As you can see in the image, any of our light switches or outlets blend nicely with our white metal covers. Plates have a slight gloss to them and are a pleasing shade of white that blends beautifully with baseboards, trim and crown molding.
Like other finishes - such as black, gray and ivory - the white devices vary in color very slightly by brand. Most brands also make certain devices in gloss and others in satin sheens, which can make them look a little different when held up side by side and closely inspected.
However, once installed, most people hardly notice any variation in color. If you have any concerns about finish, we suggest you make certain any devices that will be mounted side-by-side are manufactured by the same brand (example: Pass & Seymour, Leviton or Lutron), and try to get matching sheens (although this isn't always a possibility depending on which type of electrical device you need).
Another thing to consider is that the lighting in the room can change the color tone of both your switches and your plates. They may look like brilliant white when viewed in a room with bright lighting, but then may appear off-white when in a dimmer room with yellow light bulbs or a pure white wall color.
