If updating a vintage GE, Bryant, Sierra, or Remcon 3-wire system, this 2-wire unit replaces a single switch. (One button would be the OFF button and the other the ON button, but only the ON button would be illuminated when actualized.)

Q & A

Q. Is this a low voltage 3-way switch with pilot light?
A. Yes, it is. You will wire the switch in parallel to the relay it is controlling. So for that reason, you could have an unlimited number of switches controlling the same light. The relay just responds when receiving a signal from any of the switches it is hooked up to.

Q. I currently don't have pilot light functionality on my switches. Will these control stations provide it?
A. Not likely. Pilot light functionality requires an extra wire in the walls plus a Pilot Light Power Transformer 6V for each pilot light. If you do not currently have that extra wiring then it would have to be run through the walls first.
