Not sure what you can say about switch plates except they gave us the look we wanted in the living room of our 65 year old cabin.
I'm using the switch on an antique lathe, a small one well within the current rating for the switch. I wanted a push-button on/off option and remembered the old switches in my grandmother's house back in the 1960's. It's easier to reach down and push a button and mimics the industrial style on-off switches. Very well made and definitely high quality product.
I have brass door hardware in my 1923 bungalow and this switchplate in the "raw brass" looks totally original to the house and matches perfectly. SO much better than an antique brass, which would tend to be a bit too even and dark in tone. It's awesome that this company offers this option, I have never seen it anywhere before and I just love it!
