These upgraded ground fault receptacles feature important safety features including continuous self-test functionality and unique tamper-resistant shutters that help protect children and incapacitated adults from inserting foreign objects. The self testing feature disconnects power to receptacle if critical components are damaged and GFCI protection is lost and shows you the status via tiny LED lights. The unit provides “continuous self-testing” that initiates within 2.5 seconds and is a continuous cycle every 30 seconds or less. Fits in a rocker switch plate.
