Set three outlets, cables or switches deep into your wall with this 3-gang recessed electrical box. Excellent solution for limited-space locations behind appliances or next to doors or drawers that have tight clearances. These triple-gang inset wall boxes allow furniture and small appliances to be placed closer to the wall because the electrical cord plugs don't protrude past the face of the box.

Can BX or MC Cable be used with this plastic recessed outlet box?
Using metal-clad cabling such as BX Cables or MC Cables (instead of Romex) with this plastic box would require adding a grounding bushing at the connection to the box and running a grounding wire back to the main panel. Check with your local code requirements or inspector to confirm your particular situation.
