Description
Older Replacement Switch Plate Covers for 1 GE or Bryant Low Voltage Switch
Use this single GE low volt replacement cover plate if you are keeping your original white, yellow ivory, or brown GE RFS or Bryant low voltage switches and are only wanting to replace your GE RP series switch plates. This switchplate is not compatible with the new RS2 series switches - designed strictly for covering your original General Electric or Bryant rocker switches. (Note: the old ivory switches have typically yellowed over time.)
IMPORTANT - This plate does NOT fit the new GE switches with the two square buttons and black borders (RS232, RS237) which are larger than the old mini rockers. Do not attempt to jam a new switch into an old strap - the buttons will stick and will burn out your relay.
See Updated Replacement GE Switch Plates if you are also replacing your switches because the new switches are larger.

Q & A
A. No, GE's new 2-button light switches do not fit these older style plates. They cannot be used together. It is very important to select the NEW STYLE plates if you are replacing your old mini rocker switches. The switches that do fit the New Style plates have a black border, so if your current switches do not have black borders, these are not the correct plates. Please see the photos above for examples.
