If using these 6-button light switches in a 3-wire low voltage wiring system such as GE, Sierra, Bryant, be sure you are doubling the number of switches you need. This switch replaces a three switch in a 3-wire system. Be sure to include the free 3-wire to 2-wire Touch Plate conversion instructions when placing your order.
Q & A
Q. I need a low voltage 3-way switch with pilot light. Will this work?
A. Yes, just wire two or more switches in parallel to the relay - each will be able to control the same light. The relay responds when it receives a signal from any switch hooked up to it.
Q. Will these control stations provide pilot light functionality if I don't currently have it on my switches?
A. Unlikely. Functional pilot light requires a Pilot Light Power Transformer 6V for each pilot light and an extra wire in the walls. If you do not currently have that extra wiring then it would have to be run through the walls first.
