Voice grade RJ45 phone jack for category 3 grade structured cabling systems, by Leviton. Snaps in to Leviton's data frames (straps with 1, 2, 3, 4, or 6 openings) and is compatible with all of Leviton's QuickPort accessories to give you maximum flexibility when upgrading or expanding your phone and internet setups in residences or businesses. The range of options and the quick assembly of these modular jacks makes it easy to build the data, voice, and audio/video connections required whether for a home office or an industrial facility.
If you prefer not to use frames in order to have the largest area possible of your plate be in metal or just to minimize the color contrast with your wall plates, then you can snap this RJ45 phone jack by itself directly in to a telephone jack switch plate, but it will protrude out from the switchplate significantly - see photo for an example. If you don't mind being limited to the colors of the frames and prefer a flush mounting, use with Leviton's data frames - the jack clips into the frame from the back to ensure a flat face that is even with the wall plate.
