Description
Shortie Triple Rocker Light Switchplates Get You Out of a Jam
If your remodeling job ended up with a kitchen counter or bathroom vanity installed right up against your 3-gang electrical box, then this is the trim plate you need. Shorter on the top vs. the bottom, these 3 Decora faceplates can be flipped over to use the trimmed side up against the blocked side - the device openings are still in standard locations. The screws use box mounting openings - see note below.
Features
- U.S.-made metal triple decorator trim plates
- versatile - rotate cover to place the shorter edge on either the top or bottom as needed
- .030" steel with white enamel finish
- 6-3/8" W x 4-1/2" H x 5/32" D with crisp bevel edging on all four sides
- distance from panel edge to Decora opening on one side is 3/4" and 1-1/8" on the other (upper or lower edge)
- openings fit all decorative devices - slide fan controls, Decora devices, rockers, slider dimmers, GFCI's, block, etc. (Leviton trademark: Decora)
- the switchplate just covers the outer edge of the device straps
- standard device mount screw holes have a horizontal spread of 1.813"
- alternate vertically mounting screws holes - see note below
- standard Decora opening: 1 5/16" W x 2 5/8" H
- quality Kyle Switch Plates exclusive configuration is manufactured in metal only
- 6 matching white 1/2" slotted screws
Installation Note: The vertical screw holes use box mount distance (3.281") instead of the standard strap mount (3.812"). To install, use the same screw to go through both the wallplate and the device directly into the electrical box screw hole.
Confirm the spacing: Measure from the center of the screw that is holding the electrical device in the box to whatever is blocking the plate. If the distance is more than 7/16" (11 mm), the plate should fit.
