Description
GE Old Style Three Opening Low Voltage Light Switch Plate Covers
Single gang 3 stacked GE or Bryant device opening original low voltage switch plates for covering three original GE low voltage devices in a 1 gang electrical box. Choose this wall plate if you have the original style GE or Bryant electrical devices mounted into a strap or yoke and are needing to replace only the plate itself. Original style General Electric straps and devices were smaller than the new ones and are no longer manufactured. The old switches in midcentury homes usually came in white, ivory, and beige; colors may have yellowed and darkened over time with the ivory looking more yellow and the beige more brown than they once were.
NEED NEW REPLACEMENT GE SWITCHES, TOO? CHOOSE FROM THE OPTIONS HERE: GE LOW VOLTAGE REPLACEMENT LIGHT SWITCHES.
IMPORTANT - This plate does NOT fit the vintage new GE switches (with the two square buttons and black borders: RS232, RS237) which are larger than the old mini rockers. Do not attempt to jam a new switch into an old strap - the buttons will stick and will burn out your relay.
Currently have 1970's style new GE low voltage switches (discontinued in 2020)? You'll need to buy New Style 3 Button GE Switch Plates that fit them.

Q & A
A. No, GE's new black-bordered 2-button low voltage switches do not fit these older style wall plates. They cannot be used together. It is very important to select the NEW STYLE WALL PLATES if you are updating your old mini rocker switches. The switches that do fit these vintage style plates DO NOT have black borders.
