Looking to buy GE RFS6 switches? These vintage smart home low voltage light switches were discontinued decades ago, and even any new old stock RFS-6 switches are long gone. Even the newer General Electric's replacement low volt switches RS232, RS237, RS239 switches that were manufactured starting in the mid 1970's were discontinued in 2019.

Good news! Replacement switches are available, however in slightly different styles. If you don't want to take chances on used or second-hand electrical items with limited lifespans or that could damage your relays, then choose current replacement switches suggested.

Newer GE RS2 Series Low Voltage Switches - What You Needed To Know

Older switches were 25V and rocked ON/OFF, newer switches were 24V with black borders around a pair of square ON/OFF buttons
Would work with your old GE or Bryant wiring system
Were slightly larger than the old RFS, RTS, RKS series switches
Didn't require straps, brackets, or mounting yokes (except Despard type)
Could not be used in the old straps - caused switches to stick or jam
Snapped directly into New Style Low Voltage Switch Plate Covers (except Despard style)
Could replace any vintage GE RKS, RTS, RCS, or RFS switches (per style)
