A plastic insert can be inserted in a duplex opening for use with keystone phone jacks, Ethernet jacks, cable jacks, and other types of connectors for communication systems. Custom Made Wallplates: If you need a very odd size and your job specs don't allow inserts, custom switchplate configurations can be made. Note that if you are just ordering one or two, the plates will be expensive. However, if you are ordering in quantity, the prices fall with the amount ordered, often ending up closer to that of standard cover plate pricing. Special orders have a $100 minimum, take 6 weeks to receive, can cost up to 4 times the cost of a standard stocked plate (for small quantities) and must be paid in full prior to ordering.
