The deeper plate has worked very well in my 100 year old kitchen. The elec boxes are mounted in cinder block and the receptacles stuck out just enough that the plate was not totally secure at the bottom, so I had to hold the plate in place and pull the plugs out "hard". Now with the extra deep plate and using the longer screws where needed (order them as a separate item!) I don't have to "hold and pull" anymore.
So gratifying to know that someone made covers to deal with the specific problem of wall boxes that are too shallow or have obstructions at the back--making conventional plates sit off the wall. Nice looking and perfectly functioning. Thanks for making these!
