Description
Help protect your home against the most common type of electrical fire (from arcing in wiring and receptacles) with Leviton's 15A Tamper-Resistant Arc Fault Outlets. Designed to identify dangerous arc-faults & respond by interrupting power.
Arc-faults can occur within walls, at loose electrical connections within your home, or within a damaged appliance cord, lighting fixture cord or extension cord. Cords are often unknowingly damaged when pinched by furniture or by repeatedly being pulled from from sockets incorrectly. This can result in electricity arcing across the wires to finish the connection and lead to a fire in a home or apartment.
