One of 3 really thin switches in a "gang" of 3 broke, and I couldn't find a replacement in any electric store. One of the sales people told me it was a Despard switch--I had never heard of it, but it was just what I needed. I had to improvise a bit to get it to attach to the bracket with the other two, but in the end, it worked, and I didn't have to reconfigure the whole setup for the larger switches that are standard today. Really happy I found this source!

Replaced a switch to an old bathtoom exhaust fan. It works fine and went in with no problem.

Have been looking for a light switch that would fit in a small enclosure in my 1960's Chevron Gas pump I am restoring. This switch fit perfectly as it is smaller than the switches of today. Quick shipping and delivery from Kyle Switch Plates.

We repainted the living room in our 1968-built home and wanted to upgrade the Despard switches and cover plate from ivory to white. I had a hard time finding these so I'm glad I found Kyle.

The screws to connect the wiring are on the sides, while the connections on the switches I replaced were on the back. The switches went in an old metal double wall box. When I turned the breaker on after installing, it tripped. Apparently, one or more of the screws was touching the grounded metal wall box. I covered all the screws with electricians tape and reinstalled them and everything is working fine now.
