Description
Replace a vintage GE RA13 base and RFS6 low voltage rocker switch with this wall-mounted unit. Although larger than the old mini raised switch and frame units, this replacement set for a GE light switch includes an extension ring and is still designed to sit on surface locations where you do not have an electrical switch box set into the wall (for example, on cement or plaster walls). The switch itself works similarly to the old rockers where flipping it one direction turns lights on and pushing it the other direction turns the lights off. The switch snaps back to center once released.
This set includes an extender ring with screws, trim plate with screws, a new Despard low voltage switch with easy crimp connectors, and a switch mounting bracket.
NOTE: You will need to buy separate mounting anchors appropriate for your surface material if you cannot use the regular electrical screws included.
Compatible with low voltage GE and Bryant lighting systems: replaces 1-switch control stations.
