- note - screw mounting holes use box mount location (3.281" apart) rather than standard strap mount (3.812") because of wide beveled edges
IMPORTANT INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS: Screw position is modified on these popular deep ivory plates because of steep bevel on edges. Screw holes are set at 3.281" box mount spacing (rather than strap mount spacing of 3.812" as is typical). To install, insert screw through switch plate, through device strap, then into electrical box with the same 1/2" screw. If your plate will be floating above the box (not touching it) because of bulky devices, you will need to order longer screws.
